81cm fullered blade decorated with scrolling foliage, stands of arms, flowers of the Union, crowned GR cypher and crowned Royal arms, all highlighted in gilt on a rubbed blued ground, regulation gilt hilt with D-shaped knuckle guard and urn-shaped pommel, copper wire bound grip, contained in its copper gilt mounted black leather scabbard complete with red and bullion knot.
