10inch sighted octagonal browned barrels with platinum lined case colour hardened breeches inset with platinum poincons embossed JOSEPH MANTON PATENT, scroll engraved colour hardened tangs, platinum lined touch holes, border and scroll engraved colour hardened bolted and signed locks, roller frizzens, rainproof pans, the steels signed and numbered 10102, half stocked with chequered grips, blued steel mounts, the spur trigger guards with border and scroll engraved decoration and stylised pineapple finials, the tangs engraved 10102, in their green baize lined mahogany case, the inside of the lid with maker's trade label for Mary-Le-Bone Park-House, New Road London, the outside of the lid with flush fitting brass carrying handle, complete with red leather covered three-way powder flask, mallet, mould, cleaning rods and starting rod.
