A COMPOSED SET OF 19TH CENTURY INDO-PERSIAN ARMOUR FOR A BOY

comprising kulah-khud or helmet with single piece skull decorated with courtly scenes and a band of calligraphy, flanked by two plume holders, square section spike finial, adjustable nasal bar, shaped camail of butted links, together with a 38cm diameter dhal or shield profusely decorated with calligraphy and with traces of silvered decoration, four domed foliate bosses, red cloth backing, and a modern mail armour.
