77.5cm sharply curved fullered clipped back pattern welded blade finely decorated with a large chhatri over a panel of calligraphy, the forte richly decorated with panels of scrolling foliage and flowerheads and with two panels of calligraphy and struck with a gold highlighted maker's stamp, the spine decorated with a panel of scrolling vines and flowerheads, characteristic hilt with elongated langets, domed quillons, scroll knuckle guard with bud-form terminal, dished disc pommel with dome top with spherical finial with suspension bracket, the inside of the knuckle guard with traces of an inscription, the whole decorated with scrolling foliage and flowerheads in gold damascene.
