73.5cm sharply curved T-section damascus blade with maker's stamp at the forte, welded in two places, characteristic gilt mounted hilt with two-piece riveted horn grips, in its copper gilt mounted leather wrapped wooden scabbard. It appears as though the blade has been ceremonially snapped, perhaps on surrender, then later repaired. One quillon terminal lacking. The grips are probably rhinoceros and as such in respect of export all CITES regulations must be applied for and adhered to.
