41.5cm recurved wootz blade inlaid with two vignettes in gold koftgari, both set with stars and characters, characteristic white metal hilt with dished disc pommel, fluted domed cap, waisted grip, dome quillon terminals, the whole chiselled with foliage, in its green cloth wrapped wooden scabbard with pierced upper mount decorated with scrolling foliage and flowerheads, the chape decorated with a peacock on either side.
