A SCARCE REGIMENTALLY MARKED 1788 PATTERN LIGHT CAVALRY TROOPER'S SWORD THE 16TH (QUEEN'S) LIGHT DRAGOONS

92cm curved fullered blade etched with stands of arms, mounted cavalrymen, and the regimental title The 16th or QLD, further marked to the back edge R-Solingen, most probably imported by Runkel, regulation steel hilt with elongated slender langets and D-shaped knuckle guard, in its steel mounted panelled wooden scabbard with leather inserts. Repair to chape.
