26inch sighted blued two-stage barrel with half tube magazine, fitted with rear ramp sights, rear peep sight and pivoting fore-sight, stamped with the manufacturer's details MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO NEW HAVEN CT USA PATENTED OCT 11 1887 APRIL 2 1889 AUGUST 1 1873, colour hardened action stamped to the underside with the serial no. 321012, half varnished stock. Retains virtually all of its original blued finish to the barrel and with good traces of case colour to the action.
