6.5cm across the face, double notch beneath, 23.5cm from the face to the tip of the square section fluke, secured to its later wooden haft by three rivets. See Small Arms of Sea Service by Rankin, page 2. Believed to be one of only three examples known with one residing in the Smithsonian Institute. Circa 1800.
