A GEORGE IV OFFICER'S SHOULDER BELT PLATE TO THE 1ST ROYAL REGIMENT OF FOOT (THE ROYAL SCOTS)

the gilt rectangular plate with rounded corners, centred with the Royal cypher above a sphynx, surrounded by battle honours WATERLOO, PENINSULA, EGYPT and NIAGARA, further surrounded by the regimental title and motto NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT and the collar of the Order of the Thistle, all surmounted by a crown and with St Andrew holding the saltire below.
