A SCARCE .451 WESTLEY RICHARDS CAPPING BREECH LOADING MONKEY TAIL CARBINE
25inch sighted barrel fitted with ramp and ladder rear sights, engraved WHITWORTH PATENT and stamped .450 and .483 on either side of the breech, further stamped with the serial no. 577, this repeated on the pivoting breech which is also marked WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT, the lock stamped WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. 1861 and with a triangle at the tail, chained nipple protector, full stocked with regulation steel mounts, to include secondary barrel band, the blued butt with trap containing cleaning tools, steel cleaning rod.
