A SCARCE PAIR OF 18TH CENTURY FLINTLOCK WATERS PATENT BLUNDERBUSS PISTOLS
7inch brass barrels with flared ring turned muzzles, undersprung bayonets released by the secondary triggers, brass topped wooden ramrods mounted on the left side, border engraved brass actions signed Waters & Co Patent and numbered 57 and 58, flared wooden butts with grotesque mask silver butt caps hallmarked for Birmingham 1780. (2) Foliate tail of one butt cap lacking and ramrod mount resoldered.
