74.5cm curved fullered blade decorated with scrolling foliage, stands of arms, figure of Britannia, crowned Royal arms, crowned GR cypher and a flaming grenade, gilt stirrup hilt with lion's mask langets, bold lion's head pommel, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in an associated brass mounted leather wrapped wooden scabbard, together with a worn 1796 Pattern infantry officer's sword in its worn scabbard.
