A ZULU WARRIOR'S SHIELD CIRCA 1870
possibly iNdlondlo regiment, a veteran unit's one, a very rare massive example of the type carried at Isandlwana, Rorke’s Drift, Ulundi, & all the battles of the Zulu War, 145cm high, white & brown cowhide, with staff down the back. Very slight wear to the fur in places. It is now very unusual to find a shield of this size.
