30.5cm fullered blade with faceted back edge by Buckmaster, etched with scrolling foliage, crowned VR cypher's 79, battle honours and a stand of arms, pitted, characteristic carved basket weave wooden hilt with gilt mounts decorated with thistles and oak leaves, the pommel set with a stone, contained in its leather wrapped wooden scabbard with gilt mounts decorated to match, the upper mount with centered 79, complete with bi-knife and fork, decorated to match. Scabbard worn and parted with leather lacking to the reverse, fork stuck in socket.
