9inch barrel, stepped and bevelled lock marked Mre Nle de St. Etienne, half stocked with regulation brass mounts, steel belt hook mounted on the left side. Only a few of these rare pistols were made and only a few survive. Made exclusively for the Naval Guards at the French Toulon Arsenal which was captured by the British in 1793.
