ITALY - A 19TH CENTURY NAVAL BOARDING AXE

14.75cm crescent-shaped face, 28cm from the face to the tip off the heavy square section tapering fluke, secured to its original faceted wooden haft by two rivets through the straps, these mounted in the French manner, belt hook, the haft applied with an old museum of collection label no. 3829. Circa 1840.
