AN 18TH CENTURY FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL BY ABRAHAM ELLSTON OF DONCASTER

c.1785, 9.5inch barrel, regulation brass mounts, unbridled signed lock. Abraham Ellston, sometimes spelt Elston, working 1783-1793, was a Provincial gunmaker producing fine quality weapons for the wealthier gentry in South Yorkshire, and those travelling along the Great North Road.
