perhaps Scinde (Sindh, currently Pakistan), 21cm dark watered steel wootz blade, carved walrus tusk hilt with large gold pommel cap inlaid with cabochon ruby, turquoises and sapphires, in its leather covered sheath with string-work decoration including a band of inscriptions around the top, and fitted with gold suspension mount decorated with translucent green and opaque pink and white enamel.
