76.5cm sharply curved blade decorated virtually to the tip with scrolling foliage, crossed lances with pennants marked to the XI LD, crowned laurel wreath with centered regimental title, battle honours EGYPT, PENINSULA ,WATERLOO and the Sphinx, stands of arms, regulation steel stirrup hilt, ribbed horn grip, in its steel scabbard.
