A VERY RARE EARLY 18TH CENTURY FRENCH ROYAL SWISS GARDE'S SWORD

83.5cm curved fullered blade etched on the left side Regiment des Gardes Suisses and on the right side Compagnie de No., regulation brass hilt with shell guard, D-shaped knuckle bow with one side bar and two scroll supports, finger loop, stamped FF A25, flattened bun-shaped pommel, brass wire bound grip. See Aries No.3 1968, very few of these are known to have survived.
