88cm curved fullered blade engraved with a crown over AR for Frederick Augustus, further stamped with a smaller version of the same monogram, engraved Knecht In Solingen on the back edge, regulation brass basket hilt stamped GR 87 to the underside, ribbed leather grip, contained in its black painted steel scabbard stamped GR 3.
