80.25cm double fullered curved 18th Century Hungarian blade engraved with lions, figures of soldiers, crescent moons and the motto Vincere aut mo Hungaria (Victory for my Hungary), characteristic silver niello hilt finely decorated with scrolling foliage, contained in its leather wrapped wooden scabbard with silver niello mounts decorated to match, the upper mount with a panel of calligraphy.
