A SCARCE 1864 PATTERN CAVALRY TROOPER'S SWORD TO THE 4TH (QUEEN'S OWN) HUSSARS

90cm clean slightly curved fullered blade stamped ROBT MOLE & SONS BIRMINGHAM at the forte, further stamped MOLE on the back edge, regulation steel bowl guard pierced with a Maltese cross and two knot slits to the back edge, incised 77 over 4H over 315, two-piece riveted chequered leather grips, contained in its steel scabbard incised 3H over E21. Retains some original blackened finish to the inside of the hilt.
