87cm fullered blade incised SAHAGUM in the fuller flanked by a series of X stamps, further incised on either side with the running wolf motif, the forte stamped with a partial crowned XXX mark of Amsterdam, further stamped with a crowned BC mark, characteristic hilt with recurving guard composed of shaped flattened bars with chiselled foliate terminals, quillon block, looping side guard and flattened spherical shaped pommel decorated to match, the whole with circular incisions, vertically ribbed grip with wire binding and turk's heads.
