2inch barrel, border engraved bevelled lock engraved JORDAN 1746 across the tail, full stocked with regulation brass mounts, brass topped wooden ramrod. Purchased in Scotland, the lack of a crowned cypher on the lock, which appears to have been erased, may suggest it had been captured from the English. Works on HC with a pitted bore, old worm, cracks and restoration.
