AN 18TH CENTURY SILVER HILTED SMALL SWORD

70cm incurved triangular section blade with deep central fuller, the upturned shell guard decorated with classical figures in a temple setting, possibly Zeus and Hera, the quillon block, some crushing, decorated to match, the D-shaped knuckle guard decorated with the profile of a ship's figurehead and with dolphin terminal quillon, the pommel decorated to match the guard, silver wire bound grip with turks' heads.
