A LATE 18TH CENTURY DUTCH ADMIRALTY OF AMSTERDAM NAVAL CUTLASS
59.5cm curved fullered blade engraved to either side with crossed anchors flanked by AA surmounting the date 1791 and decorated with foliate flourishes, regulation brass hilt with half-guard, D-shaped knuckle bow with two scrolling side bar supports, incised with the rack number 223 to the underside, contained in its brass mounted leather scabbard.
