A LATE 14TH CENTURY SWORD OF OAKESHOTT TYPE XV
72.25cm flattened diamond section blade stamped with a crown to either side above the forte and with traces of latten inlay, characteristic hilt with tapering crossguard with down turned terminals and drawn down to a shallow point in the centre, drawn out wheel pommel with circular recess to either side, tapering flat tang.
