King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902, the stippled silver band with alternating acanthus, cartouches and beaded decoration, hallmarked for London 1902 and with maker's mark for R & S Garrard & Co., surmounted by eight balls or "pearls" on elongated stalks interspersed by strawberry leaves, red velvet cap with tall gilt braid finial, the base of the band trimmed with ermine, the interior bearing remains of silk lining marked for R & S GARRARD & CO., GOLDSMITHS & JEWELLERS TO THE CROWN, 25 HAYMARKET LONDON, (perishing), 14cm high over all approx., also fitted inside with a contemporary but associated horn hair comb.
